The story of the Firelance is set during the Murr Invasions at the turn of the Ages. Back then the Huluacris Plane was still under the control of the Immortal Kingdom which no longer exists today. You should be able to locate the Murr Invasion in the Chronicles somewhen between the 500s and 800s.
